I started playing classical guitar at the age of 8. After three years I realized I wanted to have more possibilities of creating the sounds I want, so I switched to learning to play the keyboard. Soon I had to learn how to play piano so after some years I eventually landed there.
Meanwhile – when I was 14 – the school’s band searched for a new sound engineer and since I was always fascinated of sound I said I would do that. I tought myself how to operate sound mixers and all that stuff. But the band couldn’t find a drummer to suite their needs, so I helped out during rehearsals and drummed along. Eventually this ended in being me the new drummer of the band, because somehow I could do it by nature.
Then my music teacher asked me to sing in the school’s choir, because she believed I had a great voice. I first didn’t want to because me and my best friend were the only boys in the choir but eventually I found out that I really liked singing. I got some other guys together and we formed an a cappella men ensemble and one year later an a cappella ensemble with some former students and grown-ups too.
After I graduated school in 2008 my music teacher came back to me and asked if I would be part of a musical about „Giovanni Bosco“ she was going to produce in my former school. Of course I said yes.
So my first time on stage as a musical actor was in 2009 in school. After that I found out about Broadway Connection and their programm and so one thing led to another, I made my musical degree and in the end I am now playing in real theaters with real great actors and I love it!
But nevertheless I never gave up music-making: Since I got my first DAW for the computer I started recording and writing my own songs. From Dance to Hip-Hop, over Pop/Rock and Musical-esque songs back to House (what I mostly do now).
In spring 2015 me and my siblings formed the trio The BIT as music project for fun, wrote a song called Partey, B*tches, which you can now get on iTunes and Amazon and Google Play! We also wrote some more songs, which are going to be published soon.
Currently I’m working on a new music project, which I think is going to be released in the near future.
